Europcar CARSALES (Navan) is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We want every visitor to be able to browse our stock, read about our services and get in touch with us without barriers.

Conformance status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act. The site was audited and remediated in August 2026 using a combination of automated testing (axe-core and Pa11y across the site's main page types), scripted keyboard-only journey testing, and manual review of items that automated tools cannot measure, such as text placed over photographs.

What we have done

• Every page can be navigated and operated with a keyboard alone, including the vehicle galleries, search filters, finance calculator and enquiry forms. A "skip to content" link is available at the top of every page.
• Form fields, buttons and controls are labelled for screen readers, including search filters, photo uploads and newsletter sign-ups.
• Images of vehicles carry descriptive alternative text; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
• Colour contrast meets the AA ratios, and the site can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content.
• Dialogs (such as the enquiry and finance windows) announce themselves to assistive technology, keep keyboard focus inside while open, and return focus to where you were when they close.

Known limitations

• Some content is provided by third parties — embedded Google Maps and YouTube video players follow those providers' own accessibility support and may not fully conform.
• Vehicle photographs are supplied as images; their descriptions identify the vehicle but cannot convey every visual detail of an individual car. Our team is happy to describe any vehicle in detail by phone or email.
